With all the talk about how bad the HR20 OTA is, I thought I pass on an instance where it is very good.

I have OTA input to both my HR20 and my Vizio L32HD TV.

In Cincinnati, the NBC affiliate is on 5-1. I was looking at PQ the other night and I saw fairly severe pixelation watching 5-1 (OTA) using the Vizio TV. When I flipped over to 5-1 (OTA) on my HR20, there was no pixelation at all.

The HR20 showed the 5-1 signal to be 90% +. The Vizio does not have a signal meter.

Reason why is problably your ant is aimed just right for your HR20.. that's why I always say to set your ant using the HR20's signal meters..If you turned it just a little the situation might be reversed..
I have several SD tv's all on the same ant feed as my HR20's, the ant was set with the HR20's signal meters, HR20's have 80+ signal, while the SD tv's show some ghosting..

Aimed just right for the HR20 but not for the TV? They use the same antenna. (Signal is split).

I get the same PQ using either my HR20-100 or Westy LCD. One thing I miss, though, is that I haven't figured out how to add channels to the HR20 that I didn't add during setup. I live in Northern KY and receive the local Cincy channels. When connected straight to the Westy, I can get Dayton channels as well.
    Any suggestions?

Re-do the OTA setup and add the Dayton primary zip code (45401) as a secondary market after you re-add Cincy (45201)
