    Hi folks,

Wasn't sure where to post this - please redirect me if I'm in the wrong place.

I'm getting 771 errors on numerous channels, including local channels. Signal Strength shows the following:

    101 - 67 through 96
    101 - 78, 80, 79
    119 - 76 through 98
    99c - zeros throughout
    99s - zeros throughout
    103s - zero's except trans #2 (44)
    103c - 0, 24, 16, 29, 0, 23, 0, 29, 0, 23, 0, 30, 0, 24

Things were working fine this morning. Had light snow in my area - dish appears to be clear.

Any clue what may be going on here?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jim

It's been kinda windy here last two days, any chance your dish moved a bit?

Anything is possible, but the guy who reinstalled it after the "big blow of 2008" rigged it up with additional supports. It was absolutely fine last night - Center Iced worked fine.

I would be really shocked if it moved - but if you're not having issues, then maybe I need to make a service call.

    Thanks for responding. :)

Just curious for those in and around Cincinnati:

What is your signal strength for 99c and 99s? Here are mine:

    99c:
    29, 0, 28, 23, 34 ,36, 30, 33
    34, 38, 32, 35, 41, 47, n/a, n/a
    n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a
    n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a

    99s:
    0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, n/a, n/a
    n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, 60, 46
    0, 0, 0, 44, 57, 61, 55, 34
    n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a, n/a

Does that seam low to anyone but me? I'd love to hear from some others around my area as to what your signal strengths are for these transponders.

Those numbers are seriously bad... you need an alignment.

Those suck. Get Bluegrass back out to re-align it.

That's what I thought as well.

It appears my outage was caused by a bit of ice buildup on the bottom of a poorly aligned dish, which I "super-soakered" away to get back my service. The numbers I posted last were with a clean dish, but as you all have confirmed, are really poor.

My realignment appointment is scheduled for Christmas Eve. :)

Thanks everyone for your feedback - I really appreciate it. :D
