Pay-Per-View Volume?

    Perhaps this has been talked about, but does anyone notice that any directv advertisement (pay-per-view) is significantly louder than the regular audio on that channel?

    You'll find lots of complaints about that here.

    with 3 billion HD PPV channels taking up all the bandwidth that should be used for available National HD channels, they have to get your money,,,,,um attention, somehow.

    It's an annoying problem as old as the first days of television. But DirecTV's own commercials seem to be amp'ed up even louder than the typical annoying commercials.
