they have to work all the NHL playoff games in and today's NBA and MLB games get moved to RSN alt on some of the RSN's.

I know there are reasons but this has been the worst for accuracy I have seen and I have been an MLB EI customer since 1996. While they have issues with what they can get and not get, the guide has been promising games that are not on. Maybe in the past they left them off and added them when they were sure they were going to be on and this year they are putting them in the guide and then having to remove them when they find they can not get them or cannot push them through. Personally, I prefer the former.

It seems to me that it was very much like this last year. Feeds would show up and disappear in the guide and it took two or three weeks before CSN started showing up regularly. With a quick check of the EPG just now, I notice that tomorrows game with the Marlins is listed with dual feeds. With any kind of luck, we'll get CSN tomorrow.

I'd still have a problem, but it wouldn't be as big. Then again, if I'm setting the recordings ahead of time, I normally set both channels anyway (which leads to my question below...)

What do you go on to determine which feed you think is the Phillies home feed? Unless I'm missing something, the guide data descriptions are identical when they're listed on two MLB EI channels (e.g. 727-1 and 728-1). If I'm not home to check when the game is about to begin, the only way I can try to record the Phillies' feed is to record both.

Since I live in the D.C. area, I knew I would have no choice but to watch the Phils-Nats games on MASN (or go to the game of course, which I did on Thursday), so I didn't see what happened with the EI channels. But this weekend was an improvement - 2 for 2! Friday was on CSN, and Sunday on PHL-17, so there doesn't seem to be any correlation regarding which of those channels the game is on and whether they carry it.

If 2 feeds are listed, then the 2nd feed is the home team.

Why they can't mention that in the EPG listing or at least indicate that somewhere is beyond me.

Thanks. Of course if I can't rely on it staying in the guide through game time, I'll still have to record both.

I think we will see the guide stabilize as the NBA is al network now and the NHL is down to just a few center ice games.

I love DirecTV, but I'm glad that I chose to get MLB.TV for Apple TV this year. Get all Phillies' feeds, all Jays' feeds, and all Padres' feeds. PQ is just slightly less clear on my 58" plasma compared to D* feeds, but more than acceptable.

Phillies feed was shown in the guide, then it disappeared once the game started...ugh. At least they have the 4SD feed, though.

My guess is they ran into some technical problems.

Crazy - we can't see CSN-Philly in Philly because Comcast continues to use the Terrestial Loophole. But the rest of the USA can see them fine.

    Grrr!

It was on the Comcast Network last night (Thursday). If it's not available to D,they shouldn't list it in the epg !

Is it only the games at Citizens Bank Park that are actually winding up on?

No, I refuse...when the guide shows that a certain feed of the game will be on, I expect it to be on. If it's not available, then they shouldn't put it in the guide.

But it currently isn't true so you will just be disappointed.

I think all the Phillies feeds have been home games. Not sure but it has played out since I started paying attention to that.

CSN Philly feed in the clear...first time I have seen it for a Phillies road game this year. Great job with EI today.
