If its on both receivers, turn then off, unplug the swm, wait a few minutes, plug the swm back in, and fire up one receiver at a time.

If its just on one, check connections on back and reboot from the menu.

Make sure there arent any tree branches blowing in front of the dish? No obstructions in front of the lnb. Dish and lnb are tight. Ground block connections are tight. Connection on the lnb pigtail (if applicable) isnt loose or blowing against the mount.

After that, Its time to call Directv for a service call...I would think. There might be a power supply problem for the lnb.

yes it is happening on both recievers.

but as of 3:50p today it hasnt done it since 10p last night.

i called directv, was told that since it was happening during that time period it was probably something to do with the suns position. didnt believe that so i called back to talk to someone else. was told same thing. was told to call back in a couple of weeks if its still a problem. it should fix it self, there is nothing they can do to fix.

if it has something to do with suns position why is it still messing up after the sun has gone down.

the only thing that i can figure is that is the hottest time of the day, and the swm lnb doesnt like heat.
