    Thanks for the info Dusty

I also don't mind missing the first few games but I do hope they get into gear as fast as possible.

    You are welcome.

By the way, if you are going to call anybody, call Blazers. They have the vest interest to get the games to as many fans as possible. The team is rebuilding. They can't afford to alienate the fans at this stage. Think about this. You put 50 something of the 81 games in a season to a channel that can't get to big trunk of customers, it will be a problem for the team.

In the worst scenario, I wonder if we can still avoid going to Comcast by buying NBA League Pass. If so, if the games will be in HD? I never studied the issue. I will do as much as I can to avoid going back to Comcast. That will be unbearable.

Darn its not in the channel update today :(

Hopefully it comes before the end of the year and League Pass is not an option Dusty as the games fall under the blackout rules :(

I know. I found that out already. That's why I haven't bought a league pass.

I am pessimistic right now. If we miss November. I think it is likely we will miss the entire season. I hope Paul Allen intervene and stop this madness.

How come Blazers only win CSN NW broadcasted games. There are three games broadcasted on KGW and TNT. Blazers lost them all and not even with any style.

the nba national tv deals put a cap on how many times a team can be on national TV. it's a big number, but there's still a cap, so you'll still need the channel to see a large number of blazers games. i'm glad that here in Atlanta, Comcast's regional sports channel (CSS) is just terrible with basically no programming of value.

    Bainbridge...
FSNW is now on a CONUS beam (still part time) so you folks in Portland can now watch the Oklahoma City Sonics have their worst record in history.

I am an NBA League Pass subscriber. All of my Blazer games at home and away have been blacked out. This really sucks. Come on Direct. Get a deal done. Anyone want to picket the Blazer office with me.

Here we are 5 weeks into the season and still no deal between Comcast SportsNet NW and DirecTV or Dish for that matter. The only non-Comcast network is Ashland Fiber, in Ashland.

    Probably not.

While we are obviously a much smaller market then NYC, we do have a somewhat analagous situation. That is a Cable Co. that uses its exclusive ties to a sports franchise to insure its market penetration and to keeping this relationship unavailable to competing delivery systems.

I assume that our real target for complaints are the Blazers. Direct Tv could give a rip and Comcast has a vested interest in keeping it exclusive. At least one would hope the Blazers would want to maximize their exposure. However I personally have given up that hope

I'm bummed out because this is now the Oregon Hoops channel, and I really held out hope that a deal would be reached by the time Pac-10 games started, but I doubt it now.
I called Comcast and canceled my HSI in protest. They can pack sand!

I am seeing the Bucks/Blazers game on 669 (CSN+) even though the guide says Rutgers at Nebraska.

Are they doing CSNNW game time or is this because of NBA LP?

    No HD that I see....
