Yup ... got mine!
Hoping to see a package on my doorstep when I get home from work tonight! But, dammit, I'm here now, as I don't go in til noon today....
It was shipped Priority Overnight, so it might be there early.
Well, whaddaya know! IT'S HERE!!!!!
Dang, haven't got mine. Usually Fed Ex is here before 10 am.
FedEx doesn't show up until 5 p.m. or so here, and I'll be at work, but I'll leave a note or they won't drop it off without signature (only thing I've never liked about FedEx...unless you have a letter on file)
I sure didn't sign for mine! It was just there....
Retirement has many of the same benefits, without some of the negatives. Unfortunately, it also comes with some of the downsides of aging.
The FedEx trucks don't show up here until the afternoon but I expect to be busy shortly thereafter.
Maybe the sender can specify "signature not required"? I know nearly every package via FedEx, if I'm not here, I get a note that they will try again or I can come pick it up.
Come to think of it, though, I may have gotten a couple things from D* when I wasn't expecting them...so maybe that's the case.
I don't recall having to sign for any of the Directv shipments I have received.
If it was sent priority overnight, which I assume they all were if two reported that, shouldn't they all arrive by 10:30 am?
Not that it does me any good as I'm stuck here at work. Won't see the package until I get home around 6:30 pm.
Wait, aren't you the boss? Don't you have to "Go to a business meeting".
Wife just called. Box is in the house!
Oooo... can't wait.
Damn, I won't get home till 5:00 or so, then have a family dinner planned.
Friggin' priorities...
I'm in my home office and I told the wife to let me know when a package comes, she said, "one came about an hour ago"
Gee, thanks for telling me. lol
That's what she said.
Tell her you'll be sure to "forget" to tell her when her new mop and vacuum cleaner you ordered her arrive.
is it Dave29's wife's birthday? WooHoo!
!rolling Nope, early Valentine's Day present.
 she got a Dyson last year, so looks like she'll get a new mop this year.
