I was curious if there was a correct way to do a 5-satellite configuration with a 942 and a 625 using a SuperDish 121 and two 24" Dish Pro for wings? And also be able to use DP Separators for these two dual-tuner receivers so I can run a single line of RG-6? Some locals are on 148W... Voom channels on 61.5W... Internationals on 121W... ARGH! ;)

    Thanks!

Use a DPP 44 switch with DP21 switches cascaded. That's the only option until the rumored DPP 6x4 switches come out. You're not going to be able to use the separators, though, with this setup.

    Northern...
To clarify your statement Mark, what you said was that the seperator would not function with a DPP44 and DP21 combo, and that a DPP Seperator will work when used with the rumored DPP64. BTW is anyone home testing that switch yet? :scratchin

That is, of course Jason, what I was trying to say... :)

Wow. DPP64? Oooooh! I'm guessing the 625 won't need 61.5W so I can feed the 625 directly out of the DPP44. When I had my house built, I had two runs of RG-6 coming from my home automation box to where the 942 would go. Guess I was lucky in that regard.

So I'll need a single DPP44, two DP21's to run to each tuner of the 942. Correct? Then I can get away with using a DP Separator for the 625. That leaves one output port on the DPP44 free, right?

    Thanks to everyone who replied!
