Couldn't agree more. I had really high hopes for a great ending to The Siege I/II but it was almost a let down. After two suspsense filled episodes, it just seemed like all the issues just magically wern't an issue and everything was all fine and dandy. It wasn't "realistic" (or as realistic as a SciFi show can be).

The ending kind of reminded me of ST:TNG's Best of Both Worlds resolution.... Picard taken over by the Borg... Borg unstoppable.... All seems bleak.... Picard says tell them to go to sleep and they explode. Huh? Ditto with Cameron's original movie ending of The Abyss. Great beginning, amazing middle, and a limp finish.

I agree. Seems to me just cloaking would be highly suspicous. Where's the wreckage? Nukes don't just convert all that mass to energy.

What would have been cool would be to figure out how that city flies and just book it out of there into space, keeping on the move and one step ahead of the wraith.

I believe that even if they did know how to make it fly it would take a lot more than 1 ZPM to make it work. And if they get more than 1 they better start figuring out how to make more ammo. I am pretty sure thier little puddle jumpers are going to start junning out soon.

Not really. Battlestar is about a band of refugees with no place to go just running for it.

Atlantis is different in that our explorers willingly put themselves in danger in the quest for more knowlege and to help others, as they now have the option to Gate or fly home if they wish.

believe that even if they did know how to make it fly it would take a lot more than 1 ZPM to make it work.

Perhaps, perhaps not. Atlantis is big, but is it that much larger than some of the G'hoaul mothership's we've seen? Of course I believe they haven't exactly figured out how to duplicate the power supply for those yet either.

I too was very skeptical going in on SG1... the opening was shortened on both of the SG's for more ad time (ironically after the opening of Atlantis was nominated for an emmy for the opening score)... But the further I got into SG1 the more I thought that this was good! and might just work... Have not seen Atlantis yet but its archived on a pc from Replay and can be streamed at any time ( did not watch the first 2 parts of the seige yet). As for BSG... It rocked! even if it was Sd... hopefully Uhd will show these again in Hd...

I see the name Morena Baccarin, and now I have the damn Macarena song playing in my head.....

Ditto, on the heart going thump thump when she is onscreen. I'm surprised I haven't seen her anywhere else since Firefly went off the air.....
