I am thinking about going ahead and upgrading to the MRV, I have one HR22, 1 R16 and 1 R22, I also have a D10 but I am going to turn that one off for now(in a bonus room that is not used). The question is if I go ahead and do the upgrade what will they use to replace the R16 with. I am not eligible at this time for a discount on a receiver upgrade so would I have to pay for the receiver replacement or is it included in the upgrade.

They wont replace the R16, they will install a band stop filter on it and your HR22 and R22 will be able to share recordings.

And the D10 won't work on the SWiM system, so it becomes useless.
