I had ordered a couple of "RF Remotes" from the D* website to use in other rooms than where my HR20-700 is sitting.

I'm trying to program them to operate the HR20, but cannot seem to. The enclosed booklet says use codes 00001 or 00002 for all D* Receivers. But after numerous attempts, neither of those codes seem to work.

By the way--there was a little separate antenna in the box with the remotes also. I'm assuming I don't need this for the HR20?

If you have a HR-20-700 you don't need the antenna. If you have the -100, you do.
I didn't need to even read the book. I just went into the setup for the remote and followed the guide instructions.
The only time I needed the "00001, 00002, 00003" was for programing a second HR-20 on the same RC-32RF for the AV-2 position.
If you keep having problems, you might reset the remote and start over. I had to do this recently because I press one too many "00" and it wouldn't work.

Also here is the master of remotes: http://www.dbstalk.com/showpost.php?p=1011242&postcount=68

These are extra RC32RF remotes that I ordered to operate one HR20 receiver. The remote that came with the receiver (an RC24, by the way) operated the receiver right out of the box. But I can't seem to get the additional remotes to communicate with the receiver at all...so "going right into the guide" is impossible.
