Will I be required to re-up my contract if I move to a place that already has a working Directv dish and SWM system? I'd basically be taking my DVR and receiver and using them at a different location.

If you hook it all up yourself then no but if you have a tech out through the movers program then yes 12 month commitment would be added.

Though if you already have time left on a commitment, it's concurrent, not consecutive. It's a year from the time of service, not a year after a different commitment expires.
