Receiver in travel trailer

    Can I take my home receiver in my travel trailer and watch recorded programs with out a sat. hooked up? Thanks Michael

    No. DirecTV DVRs are essentially boat anchors without an active satellite connection. However, you can use your Philips DSR7000 Tivo DVR without an active satellite feed.

    But, it is easy to hook up the satellite dish to the receiver in the trailer.... Just carry a spare dish in the trailer for the travels.
