Well originally i posted because i could not get either of my dvr's to get connected to the internet. They were connected only to the network. Now wheni go to use MVR it says authorized but states no networked dvr's found. Again connected to internet and network. Does network services have to be running for MVR to work. If so any manual values to enter. I get a 202 error when on auto.

You don't need network services. I have the <202> error and everything works.

so what would be causing the issue of no networked dvrs found. When i look at the more info it shows both dvrs connected to network and internet.

How are you connected, DECA or Ethernet cable? What model DVRs do you have?

    That's a good question.
If they are on the same network & MRV shows it is authorized, then maybe they just need a reset now to reacquire them.

Currently TVApps is leveraging some of this, but the service doesn't need to start for TVApps to function.

I had a fairly good MRV setup with wireless devices. All of my DVR's were connected via Linksys WGA600N devices using the 5 GHZ band, set to 'N' only in my router.

I have since moved to a DECA setup, which has better response than I ever got with my wireless network.

I have my second recevier connected via a Linksys WRT54G router that is acting as a wireless bridge. It works just fine for me, but I am only streaming SD content so that is probably why. For HD content, at a minimum you would want wireless-N, but hardwired or DECA would be optimal.
