Say one has an owned HR20.

Once it is deauthorized on the account, how long is the content viable?

Obviously, one can view content when not connected up to a Satellite Feed for a period of time, but is there a drop dead time in which if the HR2x does not receive a new hit as being active, the content then becomes unwatchable?

Unknown. Once it didn't seem to ever be an issue,. Then it was less than 24 hours, and now, know one seems to know an exact amount of time. This is assuming that you have disconnected the sat feed before you deauthorized the unit. If you don't it will shut off and you will have no access at all.

As long as you disconnect the DVR from the dish BEFORE you remove it from the account, should be a LONG time. I've disco'd my entire account last fall, & both my HR20's playback DVR'd content just fine to this day...
