went through the OTA setup once more and it picked up the CA as well as the CD channels...

Only thing is the guide isn't correct...they are listing some weird foreign type programming

    Thanks everyone

Question since 8-2 in the Lincoln DMS is still AWOL, did 7-2 just start coming in or did you have to re-set antenna set-up?

Zap2it list KAZT-DT, the full power Prescott station's call letters, and KAZT-CD, the low power Phoenix call letters in the guide. Since they are both listed, all four are in the OTA list. 7.2CD worked first, then 7.2DT started to work again. The Phoenix OTA thread on the AVS forum had a post stating that -CD is designation for a low power digtal station.

How low power is 7.2 in Phoenix? I live in north Glendale at 59th Avenue and the 101. Should I be able to receive 7.2 at my location? I do see two 7.1 and 7.2 channels in the guide.

According to ftalist.com, there is an RTN "East" & "West" feed on AMC 9, so I think that D* could carry those feeds if they chose too.

I can only get 3 DTV signals on my DTV box (no AM21 for me) I can get my local PBS from Cookeville TN. Their HD-3 or 22.3 feed carries a network called CREATE. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Create_(TV_channel) I'm to far away from the next major city (Nashville) to get the "big 4" networks.

    Update:

Lincoln DMA KLKN channel 8.2 OTA now coming in on both HR20-700 receivers. From contacts I made, seems to have had nothing to do with RTN.

Edit to clarify this is the OTA signal.

Since it appears to be more a digital transition issue than an RTN issue, it's time to lock this thread.

I just noticed it, I wish I knew a few weeks ago because I had this channel removed from my favorites until today after selecting view all channels. Needless to say it’s now added to my personal favorites

In the Phoenix area I finally started receiving 7.2 Retro Network through both of my HR20/700s several weeks ago. The onscreen channel listing had showed two entries for 7.2 - one made Retro available and the other didn't. Now I'm back to one channel listing for 7.2 and am no longer able to get Retro through either HR20/700. I can still get Retro on both sets through the direct antenna feed going to both TVs. I called DTV Customer Service and that didn't help. I've rescanned for locals without success. Anybody else in Phoenix experiencing this?

    Hey all,

Apologies for the dumb question but how can you tell if RTN is available thru DTV as a local channel sub-carrier? Will it just start to show up on DTV's master (view all channels) menu? When I read the latest posts on this thread, I looked for any RTN listing using the "view all channels" option. I didn't see it listed.

I'm in the Dallas-Ft Worth market area.
