It's been announced that OnLive will go live then with a few games. If you haven't heard of it, this is a service that claims at least to allow playing modern games without an expensive console or high end PC. You can play Assassin's Creed II or Mass Effect 2 in a web browser. The only real requirement is a fast connection, 5Mbps for HD, 1.5 for SD. They were also talking about a thin client type box to use with your TV later on.

The service itself was announced to cost $15 a month, plus the cost of the game, either rental or purchase.

At the very least, this will be very interesting to watch and see what happens.
