"Roll your own" eSata raid 5 port enclosure anyone?

    Just found this little device....

    Looks to me like this could be used, in conjunction with some spare parts one may have laying around(psu, case, etc.), to do a "roll your own" esata raid array to be used with an HR20. All for only $169 plus shipping.

    Thoughts?

    Yeah "Only"....
    As opposed to 500, or more, bucks for a pre-built 5 bay enclosure.

    This looks exciting. It would be nice to hear from someone that would try this out in a RAID-5 configurationon an HR-20. Redundancy+capacity for HD recordings. I would like that.

    It doesn't do RAID5....read the specs.
