Looks like SAH bit the dust early. Channel 224 is a mirror of Jewelry TV on channel 227.
Now I just seen a crawl at the bottom that said "The New Shop At Home will return Friday at 12:00am CDT"
Charlie. You b@st@rd!!! [shakes fist at the sky]

PS. The censor is quite annoying. Espescially for such inane words as b@stard.
D* has JeweleryTV as well as SAHs replacement. I dont see a crawl though about anything.
"Hi ShopAtHome!", I guess...
I just saw it appear at 12:45am and again at 1:00am. It appears about every 15 minutes between the Jewelry TV logo and the phone number graphic.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. --Jewelry Television has agreed to buy certain assets of E.W. Scripps' Shop At Home television and online retailing subsidiary for $17 million, the companies announced Wednesday.
Jewelry Television will continue operating Shop At Home part time under a new company called Shop At Home Network LLC.
"After careful consideration we have decided that keeping Shop At Home on the air in a reduced capacity is a winning situation for all involved," Jewelry Television chief operating officer Joe Fields said in a statement.
I get SAH on an OTA channel (full power, in both analog and digital). I was hoping that they would sell the channel to a company that would have turned it into an independent TV channel (ie. showing entertainment insted of shopping).
Did SAH own those local stations or did independent stations just decide to go "shopping"?
Scripps/Howard owns most of the full time SAH stations. The were looking for buyers. I can't imagine that they were part of the new SAH /ACN deal.
Shop @home was on ch 38 in San Francisco. Gene Scot bought ch 38 in the 60's and sold all his stations around 1985 I think. I don't know whats on ch 38 these days.
Foregin language stuff
BTW, who changed the title of this thread? It was "Shop at Home bit the dust early."
It was actually - "Bye ShopAtHome!"
But JL changed it....
Your second post made it clear that "Bye ShopAtHome!" was premature. Sorry if there was any offense ... just trying to keep the world updated.
