I am going to replace my old sidecar with a slimline with a single lnb output. Do i still need the 8 channel swm since only one out put is coming out of the lnb instead of 4? I think i just run a single cable from the lnb to the spliter and make sure the power supply is in line behind the HR -22. I also have a H-23, but no power to this reciever.

    Thanks!

If you use a SWM LNB then you would remove the SWM8 and go straight to the splitter.
