Sirius mobile radio from Dish Network

    Yeah, that's what I figured. Looks like Dish just slapped their name on it.

    But this one also uses the same sirius satelite signal, right? wont they use Dish's 119 sat signal to receive the service?

    yes the reciever will be using sirius own satellites and not the dish's satellites

    there shouldnt be any bugs but the sirius recievers do get quite hot if you leave them on for a while

    KTMCDO, I was just being, as they say in Britain, a bit "cheeky" regarding the Sirius receiver with the Dish logo on it.

    After listening to the Sirius music channels for the last 48 hours or so, I must say I'm impressed. I didn't think it was possible to slice classic rock into that many sub-formats! ;)

    Anyway, I subscribe to XM and will probably not switch, since I really enjoy Audio Visions (the new age channel), Sunny (beautiful music) and Cinemagic. That said, the Sirius Disorder stream is, without a doubt, the single best channel or either service.

    is there a special deal for DISH customers to get a mobile unit? What about monthly service fees?

    havent heard of any special deals the monthly cost is 12.95
    sirius charges a activation fee of 15 dollars if you call and talk to an customer service person.
    5 dollars if you do it online.
