On screen guide is listing soap operas for SNYH (the HD version of SNY) on 625. The Mets game was on in HD though so the right program is actually airing. The guide data is correct for the regular SNY 625 SD channel. Looks like the SNYH channel is showing the same guide data as the SOAP channel, perhaps because SNYH is close to SOAP in alpha order?

I realized I should have posted this in the Programming Q&A forum. Can a mod move this please? Thanks.

I have had this same situation ever since the western NY area began receiving SNYH in April. Mentioned it under a "guide problems" thread but didn't hear of others with this same problem. Since I'm not a big baseball fan, and I can still see the games regardless of what's in the guide, it's not a big deal, but I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone!

This has happened before, and usually gets fixed in a day or so....

I'm a Yankees fan and I still felt compelled to post this problem. Maybe putting soap operas on the Mets channel is someone's idea of a joke (it is kinda funny). If anyplace, the soaps should be listed on the Cubs channel - now there's a real soap opera!

The incorrect guide data has been there since day 1 for us. And while we're on the subject of wrong data, when is our HD local Channel 2 going to stop saying its NBA tv?

No problem. The guide data for SNYH (HD) channel 625 is still wrong though. Anyone at D* happen to read this?

You are a Yankee fan and think the soap operas belong on the Cubs channel? That is what is funny!

Who will Arod date tonight? Will Giambi cooperate with the commish? Will Rocket ever pitch again? Find out tomorrow on As the Bronx Turns.

A slight hijack. Anybody else get occasional pixelation on SNY HD? I see it quite often (maybe every minute). It only occurs on SNY HD and no other HD channels. It basically is a few blocks go on the screen and go off like rain fade but in one small section of the screen always appearing in different sections. I dont watch SNY HD that much since Im a Yankee fan but when I do flip it on I notice it all the time and it is quite annoying.

At least they're not fighting each other in the dugout and clubhouse. That's all I meant. Definitely hard being a Yanks fan this year.

It's only the Mets channel so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I get some green pixelation for a second or two when I tune to the channel. There aren't any problems I noticed after that. YES also turns to green pixels for a second when I tune to that, only to watch Mike and the Mad Dog of course, never a <shiver> Yankee game <shiver>.

I get it throughout the game. Im wonder if Im not getting a good signal for that channel. But wouldnt other channels be affected? Im not seeing problems on any other MPEG4 channels.

I get the pixelation when I change to SNY (almost always) and YES (not every time). SNY also had intermittent pixelation thereafter, but YES seems pretty solid after the channel is tuned.

Yes thats what I get as well. Green pixelation when I change to those 2 channels. And on SNY intermittent pixelation thereafter as well. The intermittent pixelation is barely noticable. Just wanted to make sure it wasnt just me.

Yep, that's exactly what I get.

Just switched to the HR20 this week, so watched my first HD SNY Mets game last night. I had the intermittant pixelation as well. Hopefully, this is something that they'll fix -- sounds like its a transmition/broadcast issue vs. a HR20 issue...

    Let's Go Mets!

Do they ever plan on getting the guide data issue fixed?
