I just checked my recent activity and I have an entry titled "Additional Receiver - Disconnect Adj" that credited me $2. Anyone know what this is?

The reason I ask here is it is listed for my HR21.

If I go home to find my HR21 deactivated I will not be happy...

Just checked, and I got $2.83 back on mine. Wonder what's going on?

Can you at least reassure us that they're not being disconnected? :)

I also have an adjustment for 3.49 but also a charge and credit for "HD Access" for $7.66 two days ago. What's THAT all about?

People are getting all kinds of weird charges for HD access and other things in the main forum. I think they are setting up everyone's acounts to get the proper package when the new HD channels get turned on.

The adjustment for the HR21 charge is something new that we are still waiting/hoping to find out about.

So I've been staring at the numbers for the past 14 minutes. And I got nothin'. I really wish you wouldn't have told us to look closely at the numbers because this is giving me a headache.

I got the disconnect charge (or refund) for $2, but I never got the other odd $0 charges.

It doesn't match the partial HR21 charge when it was activated, that was 4.16

But it is entered for the HR21.

It's pro-rated, a refund from today to the end of your billing cycle for the HR21 mirroring fee. Looks like we won't have to pay the $5/month, for a little while at least.

But how long is that "little while"?

No definitive date.... but a "while" isn't so little.

What a great gesture! As if letting us keep the DVR wasn't enough. Now if we see an update for the HR21 tonight, and the HR20 CE ends up having a VOD-enable code, I'm going to feel like I have to send DirecTV a card or something. This is just too much! :D

I, as usual, am an idiot. I had calculated that my refund was 56% of 4.99, but I was only 44% through my billing cycle. For some reason, that didn't make sense to me.  But it was the end of the day on a Friday. My math skills had been used up for the week.

Hah, maybe I'd consider it if the problem was with the CONUS beams. But the spot beams? I already have my HD locals!

    Interesting.....

I don't see the credit for the HR21; but I do see this:

    09/14/2007xxxxxxxx8734Sports HD - Charge$0.00
    09/14/2007xxxxxxxx8734Cinemax HD - Charge$0.00
    09/14/2007xxxxxxxx8734Starz HD - Charge$0.00

Earl, has everyone seen the credit or is D* in the process of posting the credit to our accounts?

Oh, and BTW...what is Sports HD.
