Any word on why PTC Punjabi is been removed? I know the company that runs PTC in NA has had some financial difficulties, maybe PTC didn't get enough customers on Direct?

DISH owns everything Punjabi. Who ever owns PTC in India, should be furious that Gurbani from Sachkhand Shri Hazur Sahib is protected by ETC Punjabi. How about DirecTV distribute the program back to Aastha International.

DirecTV's copy and paste method to mislead the punjabi disposra to think that PTC has Gurbani from Sri Harmandir Sahib Amritsar. Shout out to the DirecTV International desk. Did the stragedy work?

I believe PTC was suppose to get the rights for Amritsar end of the year. I've also heard whispers that DirecTV kicked off PTC because the lack of subs which I think are true and like you said, all Punjabi channels are on Dish. PTC's sub numbers in Canada are also poor, they have the Gurbani from Amritsar but it seems like viewers up there are happy with the Gurbani Zee is showing. I don't see PTC lasting very long in Canada or returning to the US any time soon.

WHen does PTC punjabi starts on Dish Network? Will be included in Punjabi pack at the same price or are we about to see another price increase?

South Asian channels on 110° W. Looks like SET, SET Max, TV Asia and Sahara One are back to the West coast feed? Anyone got their Prime-time programs forwarded to 3 hours? Channels on 110° W are 585 Aaj Tak, 586 Headlines Today, 611 ZEE TV, 612 SET Max, 613 TV Asia, 614 SET, 617 ZEE Cinema, 618 B4U Music, 619 B4U Movies and 624 Sahara One.

I dont know why but they look horrible. Perhaps, B4U Music is the only channel which is decent for viewing purposes.

I bet you are looking at 61.5 instead of 118.7, that is why compression looks horrible, dish has 16 channels per transponder @ 61.5, @ 118.7 they only have 10 per TP.

There are no internationals @ 110, those are just an info card telling subs about a change in the channel #, QPSK split arc customers (61.5 +110,119) will see the info cards @ 110, 8PSK EA customers will get an info card on the old channel # that moved to an 8PSK TP @ 61.5. WA customers it doesn't matter since they are already on the final channel #.

Save your bet @RMichals, there always mirrors. Look at today's uplinks for DISH. Satellite 110° got some Hindi channels. Missing channels are Radio City and Aapka Colors.

Not mirrors at all, in fact all internationals @ 61.5 are on a slight time delay because they are sent through a second round of shaping compression to fit them all in. The alleged international channels @ 110 are in fact all the exact same PID which is in reality just an info card regarding international channel# lineup moves. I am well aware of the uplink and its not what you think, no international programming is on 110 just a info slate.

I got there HD box. I'm using it with wifi connection. The pq quality is realy good if I watch it on 27inch lcd tv but it's not that good when I watch it on 42inch plasama tv in 4:3 ratio. You get lot of channels with this service but zee tv, zee news and zee punjabi aren't working as watchindia is having technical issue.

Picture doesn't break up and the channel comes up within 10 seconds to buffer. Overall i think it's great buy.
