Is there a missing period of time in the recorded program? When the 622 reboots during a recording, it will be split into two (or more) parts.

Sounds like your 622 rebooted during the recording. Are you missing a few minutes of the show?

Were you sitting right there watching it during the recording in question? I would virtually guarantee that your 622 hit a snag/bug somewhere and rebooted during the recording.

Dish DVRs a very sensitive to voltage fluctuations. I would strongly recommend anyone having random reboots to try an UPS.

I'm using a ups, but since the split recording I'm recorded 5 other shows and they all worked perfect. Just a one time flaw I guess

I have one. It doesn't stop the reboots. I doubt they are related to voltage fluctuations. And if the Dish DRVs are very sensitive to voltage fluctuations, then something is very, very wrong with the hardware at a very basic level.

This has been widely reported in various threads. You missed about 4 minutes of the show, correct? Your 622 committed a reboot during the recording. Welcome to the club.

I had hoped that 3.55 would fix this. It hasn't. I've had about 12 watchdog events. Each represents an unintentional reboot. I think it's time for some new hardware in hopes that the early 622s had a hardware issue that has since been corrected. I no longer have confidence in the 622 to do any recordings because of these reboots. I use my 942 to record.
