Thanks very much for the info. I'll pass this on to my Dad.
I'm still not receiving the channel. Dish claims to me that they're still having some technical problems delivering the station, although I know some people are receiving it.
I've tried their website, but of course it's not updated. So does anyone know to which DMA's Dish will be providing STO to? Besides the Cleveland DMA obviously.
I've got it in the Columbus Ohio DMA
I live in Northern Kentucky 10 minutes from Cincinnati here in the heart of Reds country and the channel does not show up on my 921 (D500) even in the all channel list.
Can you receive channel 9900? If yes, try a hard reset or a check switch to see if that will bring the channel back up.
That's what the first tech had me do, which didn't do anything. The 2nd tech was the one who claimed I wouldn't get it until my 622 upgrade next Tuesday (claimed nothing would change with an open order).
Email response from ceo indicated technical problems. I guess nobody knows anything there!
Are folks with HD Platinum or AEP receiving STO.
because the listed packages it's available in are excluded on this page - http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/programming/channels/index.asp?NetwID=51969
And I was wondering if that printing error actually had an effect
ePG is all screwed up, list tomorrows game at 7:30, it realy starts at 3:00
STO isnt doing tomorrows game. Its going to be carried OTA on WKYC in HD. The next STO game is Saturday.
One more thing, by "hard reset" do you mean that you pulled the plug for 30 seconds or more and then plug it back in and then did a switch check?" Sometimes techs just have you push the power button for 10 seconds to do a hard reset.
And I am assuming you CAN see channel 9900? If you can't get that channel, you can't get STO.
Finally, where are you again? The STO area is much smaller than the Fox Sports Ohio area.
I live in Cleveland, Ohio. I think I'm entitled to get the gamed (have AT-180 package)
He had me do the power button reset.
Too bad we cant get Sports Time Ohio in HD eventhough its broadcast in it.
Only STO home games are going to be in HD. Locally, WKYC will do 20 games in HD, including some away games.
