From Starz? Really? I'm just looking at this from the free preview point of view. They wouldn't get me to spend extra money, I would have thought a free preview would try to entice people to purchase this package. I'm not knocking you paulman and certainly don't mean any disrespect. I just find this to be a "weak" preview.

First weekend of the tourney when there are games on constantly. Not good timing on their part.

I have to agree with this particular preview week to be a bit lacking although personally I found about 6 movies to record for later. The Starz package has more channels than the others for the money. The selection isn't always that great, but if I were to buy a premium, which I don't, it would probably be Starz.

No problem. I haven't really looked to see what is on during the preview week.

Movies are my "thing" and I watch a lot of them that most people either wouldn't watch or have never heard of.

Not to hijack this thread, but Starz has a LOT more HD offerings on DirecTV than HBO does. :D

If I were going to subscribe to a premium package, I'd surely pick Starz.
