    How Do I Re-Authorize is a great question that needs to be in the HR20 Tips & Tricks in the next release.

    Let's collect up detail for this. What exact error messages (or numbers) can this correct?

    Steps:
    1. Log into your account at directv.com
    2. Click Customer Serve-->Troubleshooting
    3. Click Refresh Your Services.
    4. Check the receiver(s) to refresh and click Refresh Services.

    It can take up to 3 to 5 minutes for the receiver(s) to refresh.

    Mine worked first time after a power reset of the H21. I couldn't get it to work (even after 10 times) until I unplugged it and then restarted the receiver.

    After the CE update, I had to re-authorize mine twice before it worked.

    7 tries in the hour after re-auth on web until it took.

    Mine only took once and it was up in about 3 seconds. It actually almost took longer for the DIRECTV page to re-load.

    I posted this in the issues thread, but here appears to be where most of the re-authorization discussion is, so I'll mention it here also.

    It took me 5 tries to get the re-authorization to work. During the first four tries, I was tuned to a local mpeg4 station. I tried a menu reset, and an RBR, during the course of the first 4 attempts with no success. Then I changed to channel 100 and did the last attempt while tuned to channel 100. That try took right away.

    Not sure if that made a difference. I'm connected through an SWM.

    I was on MSNBC (356) during the entire process and it took me 7 tries within one hour, waiting about 5 mins in between each try, before it finally "took". No mpeg-4's, no SWM here.

    Mine only took once. I tried reseating the access card first but did no good.
