You should be able to get To-Go for free. I would drop it or call in and see if you can get it for free. Many people aren't picking it up on the initial call and then calling back and saying the rep was supposed to add it for free but never put it on the account.

State sales tax is 6%, I pay 35 and change for car registration. No state income tax, warm weather year round means no 200.00 per month heating bill, along with FREE sunday ticket. Your not making me feel bad at all.

Is the property tax high like Houston tx. area. No state income tax their either but they get killed on property tax. Example my brother pays 300 a month. I pay 500 a year in Arizona where I live. Both homes valued about the same.

I'm a new subscriber and have received ST for free for this season. My question is the channels don't appear in my guide right now, and was wondering if this is normal since they don't carry preseason? Or do I need to call about it? Thanks for the help.

They won't show up until the first week of the regular season. They aren't used for preseason at all.

Directv has been known to get bills wrong and fixing it after they have your money is not exactly ideal.

Channel 116 is now active. Tune into that channel to see if you'll get Sunday Ticket. If it says you are authorized for the program then you're all set.

For me, Channel 116 says "buy now for $66.99".

If you think you have Sunday Ticket then you should call in to verify it. That channel is saying you aren't authorized for it this year.

I should have been more clear. I do not have ST and wouldn't pay $250 for it. But there's been discussion lately about some current customers receiving it for almost nothing. Is $66.99 this year's price or is this a current customer special? I will give it some thought at that price. ;)

Yes, 5 payments of $66.99 is this year's standard price. Auto-renewal is cheaper than that but 5 payments of $66.99 is the standard rate. Total is $334.95 and this does not include To-Go.

Not sure what you mean by current customer special.

I just called and was told they are updating their systems. They couldn't make any changes. I asked about the pricing for Sunday Ticket and auto renewal is 6 @ 53.99. The rep told me he couldn't see any promos (but hinted that there are) and to call back later this evening.

Me. A current DirecTV customer who would never pay what they now want for ST but might consider (what I consider to be) a more reasonable price in order for them to bring more bucks through the door. ;)

Well than the current customer special is whatever you can get it to be. :hurah:

The starting point for someone who is not on auto-renewal is 5 payments of $66.99 or 1 payment of $334.95. The current customer special is whatever you can get below that!

    Best of Luck

I called and told them I might need to cancel due to my household budget being tighter then normal but this guy told me to call back in a few weeks to see what discounts he has available for me then.

What is the reason that sunday ticket doesnt show the preseason games too ?

Yea its only preseason but this year with the late camp starts it does seem more interesting + that 3rd game when the starters play the most is good to see.

I got it for the first time this year last week. $87 plus sales tax. Give it a go, Jon J! Spin that CSR Lotto wheel! Just follow the instructions from here: http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?p=2826194#post2826194

I got $250 off. At first he offered me 1/2 off (around $167). Then I said, "I've got a buddy who tells me he got it for $250 off, so can you do better than 1/2 off?". He responded "$250, or $250 off?". I said "$250 off". He fiddled around for a few seconds on his computer and then said, "Yep, I can do that."
