Bought a Tailgater. Set it up and it WORKS! Took more time to unpack and read the manual than it took to install and get 3 satellites. Piece of cake!

It shows sats 110, 119, and 129. I am on the west coast. (Calif)

What happens when we take a looong trip to the east coast? Would it remain on the WA or get changed to the EA?

Of course with fuel prices this may not happen!

110 and 119 are no problem pretty much anywhere. North East state will probably be a problem since 129 has a low angle in this area of the US.

    Thank again for the info.

I guess that means it is 'hard wired' for WA.

Was not aware the WA was useable on the east coast!

Yeah, I'm in North East PA, near NY state, 129 is iffy. Had 119 and 110 for years before switching over to EA dish last summer.

Thanks Garys, that's good to know.

Bought the Tailgater especially for long trips.

You go much further northeast of PA and 129 starts getting iffy in general (too low in the sky). However, 110 and 119 are just fine most of the time (Dish has been selling to NE CONUS customers almost since they started).
