    That's incorrect.

All these people have served prison sentences for illegal activity in a Clinton scandal. They either were convicted or pled guilty. There are over 15 convictions/guilty pleas from Starr's investigation plus several others from other scandal investigations.

    Whitewater:
AR Gov. Jim Guy Tucker - fraud felony convictions - 3 counts (Tucker resigned facing impeachment)

Jim McDougal - fraud and conspiracy felony convictions - 18 counts
Susan McDougal - felony - 4 counts (pardoned during Clinton's last minute pardongate payoffs)

William J. Marks Sr - conspiracy
    Stephen Smith - conspiracy

    Larry Kuca - Fraud

Neal Ainley - 2 misdemeanors for embezzlement

David Hale - guilty plea - conspiracy

Chris Wade - felony - Whitewater real-estate investor

John Haley - recent! 1998 on fraud

Robert Palmer - felony for conspiracy

Charles Matthews - guilty plea for bribery

Eugene Fitzhugh - Whitewater - bribery

Webster Hubbell - #2 ranking Justice Dept. Official - felony for embezzlement and fraud

John Latham - CEO of Madison Bank - bank fraud

    Campaign Finance:
Johnny Chung - Clinton cronie - felony guilty plea - funneling money from China

Gene Lum - convicted - felony for money laundering for the DNC

Nora Lum - convicted - felony for money laundering for the DNC

Howard Glicken - guilty plea - 2 midemeanors - funneling foreign donations

Yah Lin "Charlie" Trie - guilty plea - illegal Clinton campaign donations

John Huang - Clinton cronie - felony guilty plea - funneling money from China

    Paula Jonesgate:

William Jefferson Clinton - found guilty - civil contempt of court - lying under oath about material facts. The Office of the Independent Council further presented Clinton with an agreement that had him disbarred from practicing law for 5 years and made him signed statement admitting to his deception

This is a small list, there were more than 40 convictions from those in or close to the Clinton administration. Not to mention all of the mysterious deaths. http://members.tripod.com/~cbn2/dlink.html

If you want to count all the people who have ever met Clinton that have comitted some kind of crime, I'm sure the numbers would go up for the Reagan Administration as well. Lee posted the number of convictions for members of the administration. If you buy into all that crap about "mysterious deaths" around Clinton, I have a used UFO, not too many miles on it, that I have for sale, maybe you'd be interested SAEMike.

    The Clinton Legacy is simple.
He lost both the senate and the Congress to the Republicans
He signed almost the whole contract with america.(Republican Clinton)
He signed a free trade bill (Republican Clinton)

I think that's the right wingers who have a problem with admitting that he ran a great economy, worked with Alan Greenspan and made the US economic sizzle.

    Mr. Clinton:
The largest budget surplus in history, the lowest unemployment rate in more than 40 years, the fastest growth in real wages for more than two decades, and the biggest drop in welfare rolls seen during any administration.

Mr Clinton can also point to the fact that while he inherited the biggest federal budget deficit in history, it now shows the largest surplus ever - a huge $230bn.

Many people credit Mr Clinton with a key role in helping bring about a Northern Ireland peace agreement.

Clinton was just a damn good president, in spite of the repugnican witch-hunts. I saw the best raises and best job prospects during his years. He buttered my bread, so I'll butter his. Clinton-Greenspan-Rubin made the economy great.

And don't forget that he got the closest of any president to solving the Palestinian issue. A step in the right direction. All of these issues lee mentioned above, Bush has either fumbled or ignored. Daddy Bush calls Dubya "Quincy" as a nickname, referring to JQ Adams. Apparently Daddy Bush wasn't awake during history class. JQ Adams was known mainly for the "Corrupt Bargain" and was a very disliked president. The nick fits well.

What many of you won't admit is that if the Democrat Clinton was so good why did the American people want a Republican Senate and Congress? You would think they would want all democrats .

WHAT???!!! Mr. Clinton was a great President for the items noted previously. That he was able to work with both sides of the aisle is a tribute to his political skills and get-the-job-done ethic.
