Am I the only one who has this recurring dream? I recently found out that I'm not the only one who has thought of their zombie survival plan (in fact it seems to be a downright common thing to do). Feel free to post something completely off the wall :D

You left me anyhow and then the days got worse and worse and now you see
I've gone completely out of my mind.. And..

IIRC, the B side of that single had the song in reverse...but it probably wouldn't confuse the Zombies any more then they already are. :D

Wow, did you really just say that?

My wife thinks of this. I just think, in the case of a general disaster (nuclear, zombie, Yankees fans, etc.) how would i get out. My wife and I agree, I'd drive (the only time she would be happy with my speed/recklessness).

Because it's painless? Or because it brings on many changes?

Personally, I can take it or leave it.

    Excellent TV show reference, Stew.

While I wouldn't ever want to make light of the serious issues that would cause someone to contemplate suicide, if you are faced with two prospects, one being turned into a zombie and the other being causing your own demise, it is worth considering.

Or, is it a movie reference... :scratchin :D

I would not want to be zombified so in the face of that choice, I'd take suicide any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Survival is best, there are several buildings that could be barricaded well enough, and day time scavenging, or night time if the zombies prefer the daylight. The building I am currently in would work well there are no ladder leading to the roof on the outside of the building and there are large lockers that could be used to barricade the windows/doors with a supermarket not more then 2 minutes walking away!

So what happens when the supermarket stops getting deliveries after zombies kill all the truck drivers?

However, this is not something I lose too much sleep over since zombies are ficticious!

Since when did the beatles consist of the line-up: Phil Collins, Roger Daltry, Fee Waybill and Sammy Hagar (from left to right)?

People will have stocked up on a lot of things at the supermarket but I'm sure they wouldn't have cleared it out, while yes the trucks would stop running so would the patrons!

Maybe, Maybe not, but I won't be caught unprepared :D

In honor of this entry on the CDC blog I am raising this Zombie thread!
    Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse
The CDC want you to be prepared in the event of a "Zombie Apocalypse" Interesting way to get some of the Gen Nexters to be prepared for real disaster.

    The...
Concern over zombies is greatly exaggerated, even though some people actually doubt their existence, I would not go so far as to say that zombies are 'fictitious' but, rather, "factitious" in that, although they well may exist, very few are willing to admit that they do, sort of like the existence of Area 51, or not. :whatdidid
