"Three Rivers" has become our medical show to replace "ER". (Sorry NBC, but while we'll watch "Trauma" we've consigned "Mercy" to the season-shift-if-it-survives group for watching in the future and then, only if it improves substantially.) "Three Rivers" has a talented ensemble cast, tight writing, and solid directing. The episodes move along, patients do die like in real life, and they have successes with transplants which is very 21st Century medicine. Of course, it's opposite Sunday night football and it gets pushed late by Sunday night football. So it's ability to garner ratings against "Desperate Housewives" and the Fox comedies is limited. I hope CBS gives it a chance as it would be a winner against Leno.
