A little info on my deal. $99 swap out. I actually own my HR10-250, but we will see how all that pans out. I checked my order online and it actually showed two HR20-700s on there. Must be some kind of misprint.

The person is coming between 8-12. Always pick mornings. Just in case they run late and stuff like that. I just hope they bring the right equipment. Man I got to do something with all these receivers. I have one HR10-250, R15, one Hughes Directv tivo box. I only have two TVs as well. If the guy actually does bring two HR20s I guess I will put it in the bedroom. Even though my bedroom doesn't even have HD in there.

Heck I will be happy with just one HR20. I will keep this updated throughout the day.

Watch the guy come at 11:58 or something though. LOL!

Ya, that bugs the heck out of me. I had the 8-12 slot and he called at 11:30 to say he'd be there in an hour. So obviously there was at least one install before me. Given install time, and travel time, you would think they can ball park installs a little better than either 8-12 or 1-5. They at least know they won't be at 3 houses at 8.

I had my install set up for wednesday from 8-12. got a call at 11:30am saying he would be there from 12-2. at 2:30 I got a call saying now it would be 2:30-4:30. Since I adjusted my work day to start at 3pm I had to cancel the install. I set it up again for today from 12-4. I'll wait and see if they show.

    Go Luck!

I am also patiently waiting for my installer this morning. The installers did call me an tell me that he would be there between 11:30 and 12:30 since he had to go pick up equipment. I am only hoping that he brings everything he needs.

I told DirecTV that I have 4 TVs and needed another Multiswitch for the install of the HR20.

BTW: My install was suppose to be this morning also from 8-12.

Now it looks like it is going to rain here..........the installer will be lucky if he gets the new dish installed. :(

Well my guy finished at about 12:45. Very nice guy lives right down the road from me I found out. Very cool guy. He unplugged my HR10-250 first then plugged in the HR20. He even used the same AC power cord for the HR20 that was cool. Pretty much plug and play. Everything that was plugged into the HR10went into the HR20. Satellite is up and everything.

I did give him the HR10-250, and he took that with him. So it is all good.

    Great Service!

I got it figured out! NOBODY gets an install at 8am. All the installers meet at the bowling alley at 8am and they call their first customers when they start their last game saying they will be there in 30-60 minutes.

Well, I got the call about 35 minutes ago. He asked if I needed the new dish and I told him I did, so he has to go and pick one up. Then he told me he had TWO HR20s for me. I told him to bring them on and I'd argue with D*! I have two HD TVs - a 53" Panny projection in the living room and a 32" LCD in the bedroom, so I'll take 'em both.

I don't plan on giving up my HR10, no matter what. I have a Samsung plain Jane IRD he can have and if it comes to it, I'll give him the HDVR40 I got in the free refurb promo or the R15 that's currently in the office. The HR10 and the Philips 704 are both full of stuff I still have to watch, so they're both staying.

Well, I think he'll be here within the hour, so it's my turn to wait and hope for some luck!!
