He also sang the ever-popular classic: "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch"
According to IMDb, his voice was in many films, uncredited. Obviously he was generous and humble too.
He (was) GRRRRREAT!
I just saw an interview with him, but I can't remember where it was. Seemed like a very nice man. A voice we all grew up with. Well, maybe not Nick, I think he predates packaged cereal and television.
I know that guy's voice! In the haunted mansion he says "Is this room actually stretching? Or is it your imagination?". I also remember hearing his voice on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
I never knew he was even still alive. RIP Thurl.
Wow...He was 91. The Voice sounded younger. I'll miss that.
He? His? Him?
So far, none of you overly-sensitive, caring souls have even bothered to mention "his" full name.
His name is Thurl Ravenscroft.
Thurl, You were GRRREAT!
Read my post again Nick.
I guess we thought the article did that for us, Nick. Sorry!
Read my post again, Chris.
Whatever happend to his wife, Tina Tiger? :whatdidid
Hey, you changed it after Chris posted his reply! He has proof!!
Not to mention the fact that you weren't even the one who first posted this thread, or even the first to reply with your own condolences....

"There are things of this world you can never know. An ox is gored as moss grows, ignored. Never let the sun rise before your imagination."
Nick predates dirt.
I miss the old Tony the Tiger commercials. Every time I saw one of them, there was an immediate connection back to a simpler, kinder, age.
