Also STARZ channels are free the same weekend.
They are on now.
They are on now.
Not on here yet.
DISH activated the preview at about 6:07pm Thursday. I'm not sure when DirecTV started the preview.
Why doesn't Showtime have previews?
Haven't seen these ones yet...
Showtime used to have previews but they kept an 800 number onscreen and annoyed the hell out of me.
I think they just had one a few months ago didnt they? I subscribe so it was no benefit to me.
Yup, Looks like they just had one in January, and another coming up next weekend maybe?
Let's see how many of the channels run the SAME movie lol
Ok, it's official! All premium channels have gone to crap! I saw a side split during the end credits to The Dark Knight Rises on HBO! Yes, HBO!!! Someone talking about True Blood. And I went to their facebook a couple of times and praised them for not doing that crap! It's all principle...I don't like supporting putting forth the money for a premium viewing experience (including being able to listen to end credit music) and still seeing the same adverising crap that regular tv channels do. Period!
Wait you are upset because of the extra promo for their own series starting this weekend that they add in after the movie is over but before the credits are finished? Um what does that matter? Seriously, I don't see that as an issue. And I think they only do it once in a while when something new is starting like the new season of true blood in this case.
Yes I am upset. It is the PRINCIPLE of the matter. They can wait until the end credits are done! Because if we let this go...they can get too comfortable with this practice and ruin the channel....like SHO...like Starz (banner ads at bottom as well as split screen). For a premium channel (the most expensive one), I expect the whole entire programming to be untouched, including the end credits!!!
I bet you're in the very very very very small minority on wanting credits untouched. This is one of the weirdest complaints I've ever seen/read.
But it's not unreasonable to want what you pay for. I enjoy the option of sitting there listening to the end credit music, taking in what I just watched. It's not unreasonable to want that on a pay premium movie channel that plays movies uninterrupted. Having it interrupted last night left a bitter taste in my mouth towards HBO.
Messes up his movie rip.
Heres a question, try recording the same movie a couple more times on hbo, and see if it is interrupted during the credits each time. also try a few other movies and see if its there as well. I have a feeling its only sometimes on some movie's but not sure.
Frankly, in todays day and age, the only way I expect to get a movie completely free of anything start to finish is if i buy the blu ray version.
