Real quick question :with two Genie and five clients on a SWM 16, can both. Genies and all clients see both Genies? Also, the customer is signing up at costco, and can only get 1 Genie and 3 clients from them, how much would corporate charge for another Genie and 2 clients after activation?

Only one Genie is allowed per account at this time. There are issues on systems that have managed to get two activated before it was locked down.

By you saying "from corporate"...it sounds like you are one of the salespeople that man the DIRECTV table at Costco? Or at least some 3rd party that sells/installs?

    Genie $299

    Hr24 $199

    C31 $99

Plus possible install charges if added after installed. However, an order can be built with Genie HR24 and C31s at time of order. Genie with up to 3 C31s no upfront cost the HR24 still $199.

There is a monthly DVR fee, which is applied to the account. Whether you have one or a dozen DVRs, you pay the single monthly DVR fee (something like $7 or $10, don't know actually).

There is a monthly receiver fee for each receiver (or DVR) after the first one on your account. This also applies to RVU clients (C31). Same fee no matter what it is (receiver, DVR or client). (I believe this is $6).

There is a monthly HD fee, which like the DVR fee is per account, not per receiver. I think that is $10.

So for purpose of example let's assume the 3 fees are $7, $6 and $10. If you have an account with one DVR and no other receivers, you would pay $7 DVR fee and $10 HD fee, but you would not pay the $6 receiver fee as you only have one. If you have an account with five DVRs, you would pay the $7 DVR fee (once, it is per account), the $10 HD fee (once, it is per account), and four receiver fees of $6 each.

With new accounts the HDDVR service, HD service and WHDVR are rolled into one service called "Advanced Receiver Service" at $25/ month. Not in individual charges like the previous post.

Is it that much? The Advanced Receiver Fee includes the HD fee, DVR fee, and MRV fee. The current breakdown as I remember it after the fee increases was $10 for the HD fee, $8 for the DVR fee, and $3 for the MRV fee. That makes $21, although I thought the increase brought it to $23.

I believe for customers that pay by the line item its $23, but for new accounts created on 2/7 and going forward its $25. Real high for the 1 TV customer easier to pass off for the one that has multiple TVs.

Yeah, I just found the press release by DirecTV. It looks like there is a price increase of $3 for Advanced Receiver and $2 for Advanced Receiver-DVR. It also mentions that for those signing up after 2/7 there is a $2 credit during the promotional period for a charge of $23.
