I have an HR20-700 receiver and two remotes (RC34 & RC64R). My question is: Is there any way I can use both remotes for the same receiver? I have a the receiver in the living room and a monitor in the kitchen area. The IR does not go quite that far. Ideally, I would want both RF remotes working simultaneously but would settle for one IR and one RF if necessary.

I think if you set both to RF you shouldn't have a problem. I use my HR20 with a Harmony 880 and an RC32 at the same time.

Just make sure both are set to RF, you cannot use IR and RF at the same time.

Anyone using RF, please feel free to correct me.

Thanks everyone. I went to the directv forum to get the answer and it worked like a charm. I appreciate all the replies.
