Stories like this make me regret that I wasn't able to master Spanish. So sad.

    From Zap2It:

ABC Offers 'Lost,' 'Housewives' en Espanol

Hmmmm.... I wonder which closed captioning stream they will be using. My TV has only CC1 (which is the normal captioning channel), CC2, Text1, and Text2.

    From Sacramento Bee's SacTicket:

Radio and TV in Spanish have gained momentum, and Sacramento stations are riding high

The LA stations right now have quite a few programs with CC 1 in English and CC2 in Spanish. The one that surprises me most is "The Tonight Show". Translating on the fly is hard enough. Translating jokes on the fly is nearly impossible especially when there are double entedre or play on words.

There's several hours between taping and broadcasting for the Tonight Show.
