i was hoping to get some help on a couple of questions that i have in regards to upgrading my entertainment experience. 1. i currently have a swm/whole home dvr with deca connected to my router in my office to be able to view youtube and stream pandora (great). i have been looking into the Home Media Center HD DVR on directv's website. is that only for new subscribers? also, how many runs of rg6 do i need in my living room for the home media center dvr since it says you can record 5 shows at once? since i upgrade almost two years ago to the whole home dvr i only need one rg6 run to my current dvr but i still have the two tuners for recording and it would be difficult to get anymore runs to that area of the house. 2. i have seen in the past that people have hooked the cat 5 coming out of the deca box to a switch and then from the switch to the directv receiver and also a blu ray, xbox, etc. i figure that directv doesn't support this but what is the result of this in real life. does it work good or cause problems?
