We did not miss it. For now, they can only be classified as virtual channels as the ConUS beams are still on and cannot go away without much howling. :)

Look like test channels to me.
They actually have not been found, yet.

So they actually may be new national HD channels?

What satellite(s) were these put on?

This section of this thread began with a statement about spotbeams on EchoStar 12/Rainbow 1. The maps indicate this may be the location of these channels, but like I said they have not been found, yet.

I thought that all internationals are being moved onto 118, so why are these channels being added to 61.5? Perhaps Dish has decided to keep the Int'ls at 61.5 in addition to having everything at 118?

    Anyone with info on this??

The activity seems to be remove from 121 and not add to 148.
The International service at 61.5 is long standing and they may not want to terminate it as fast as other locations. Are the ones in question possibly part of an already existing package?

I'm baffled at why they would still want 61.5. I think E*'s next sat after E*11 and E*86.5W should be E*3R, a replacement of E*3.

They could also use E*6 at 129 to replace the aging E*5. It's going to die before Dish realizes it. E*8 might also be a candidate to be moved to 61.5, and then they could put E*3 in a graveyard orbit.
