I have a HR-34-700, I received v. 67e last night. I did notice the game lounge Icon is gone but don't notice any thing else.

Where did you get the HR34?
"That code" doesn't look to be a customer release, and more of a test code to only certain HR34s.

OK, you might want to force a update now by rebooting and pressing 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 when the first blue screen shows.

This will put you on ver. 0x05FD

Then you can check if the C31 is still having its problem.

67E doesn't have any known testing here, while 67a & 67b do.

    Bouncing between threads here.
See the other one, and I have absolutely no clue as to why you got this version on the 34.

"Fine" but DO NOT DO THIS AFTER 8:00 PM tonight, or you'll get a very high risk test version, that has wiped out recordings, series links, and god knows what else [I lost recordings and my SLs].

They might have pushed this one to you in hopes it would resolve the problem.

It looks like a slight tweak to a firmware that was tested.
If they're giving you this attention, it's best to not do anything yourself and let them know of the problem continuing.

thank you, i'll give them a call and see if that might be the case, the tech did not act as if he was going to escalate the issue ,he just brushed it off as known issue. it will be interesting to see if they even know about the current software

I received if a few days ago but I'm an employee and they've been pushing them to us a few weeks earlier....it's probably a very minor tweak over 0x67c
