Great news. I was just thinking about the PIT/DET game next week and didn't want to catch that one on the online.

With all the new shows Investigation Discovery is running these days, I want to see it in HD.

Nice to see Versus back. I wonder what this means for the relationship with Comcast for the future.

I'm not surprised. "Swanni" seems to have a vendetta against DirecTV I believe since one of his relatives had an unpleasant experience with the service.

    Ocean...
    *SIGH*

Yet another, overpriced sports channel that I will never watch, but have to pay for with my Platinum package...

Now we just need the Rangers to actually make the playoffs so they can get bounced in the first round.

WOW - Great Goal by the devils just now.

I think the pq on the HD feed is terrible. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have it back, but it looks bad. Flip to the NBA game on ESPN and it's literally night and day. I remember that Vs was never up to par with the ESPN's of the world, but it seems worse.

I figured something was up when it was pulled from the guide totally today. Good deal.

Anyone know how the contract is for?

WooHoo! And thanks for the deals D*!

Criticism is deserved, as is praise. Let's not forget it was gone for half a year.

And, it's back in the same tier as it was before, so there should be enough crow for those who wanted it moved to some premium package. :p

Sure. Making it available to a subscriber base of 14 million won't add any eyes to it tonight:confused:

Funny. Versus's website says "Versus is back on DIRECT TV"...and not DIRECTV. Maybe the terms and conditions said "you can call us what you want for 18 cents a sub"
