Unfortunately there isn't, it was talked about in this thread. And as long as the thread has become, it may be hard to find. Here is a link to the customer agreement that explains it : Customer Agreement

They removed it because it was a guide glitch. DirecTV has them all the time. Earlier it said one of the Big Ten Network overflow channels was a showing a movie.

Wikipedia isn't always reliable. It's better to trust foggy crystal ball predictions from so called insiders on sites like this one.

Not sure if anyone caught this, but last week the most viewed show on VS was Cage Fighting with 249,00 viewers. That sure isn't many viewers, granted I think viewership would go up this wknd with the Texas game. But, those #'s sure don't help VS when they ask for more money for the channel. http://twitter.com/Ourand_SBJ/status/3869534534

Advertising rates are based on the number of viewers reached, so I suspect that advertisers would ask for a rate reduction, and take their business elsewhere if they don't get it.

somebody on Wikipedia just said its been reported that a deal has been reached and Versus will be returned by the end of the week. I'm guessing its BS though.

I doubt it. If a deal had been reached the channel would be on or at least D* would be sending twitters out.

Does anybody know when the last time DirecTV and any Comcast owned or partially owned channel actually signed a deal, either for an extension of an existing channel or for a new channel, like CSN NW?

Has there been any in the last two years?

This is all getting really old really quick...

And to the people that are posting these hoaxes on Wikipedia, they need to really grow up because people like us look at it and see a report and waste our time trying to confirm it. I guess it just makes more sense paying attention to the respective twitter feeds for now.

+1 . That Wiki story seems similar to hackers on the 'net. Some just seem to get a kick out of that stuff.

I've thought about the same thing lately but for me, I'll be staying with DTV since the pros out-weigh the cons for me:

    - MLB EI
    - MSG even without the home NY HD feeds, have to have this one
    - ST

Don't get me wrong, I love DirecTV, but it's seems they have really "slowed" down in the last 2 years. No MSNBC-HD, and they won't have the "new" NFL red zone channel. And now no VERSUS! (HUGE IndyCar fan here)

I thought DirecTV was the leader in sports and had the most HD channels??? I'm I missing something here?

Without Versus theyre the former sports leader, and since FiOS came along theyre the former HD leader. and if they don't get Versus back by the NHL season theyll probably be alot of people's former TV provider.

Former sports leader? Come on over 1 channel. FiOS can't be the sports leader because they aren't available to all areas. FiOS doesn't have Sunday Ticket, not sure if they offer all RSNs in HD to everyone(with right package), Nascar Channels. I know this bothers Hockey folks a lot, but how many will really switch? D* still offers the Center Ice package, so they will be missing a few games. I feel confident a deal will get eventually worked out.

Why would they? They have NFL-ST to sell to their customers. IMO, it's a glorified highlights show. You get some live coverage of possessions inside the 20, highlights, & stats...big whoop.

    You're kidding, right?

What about the entire NFL Sunday Ticket, you know every game, not just highlights.:)
