Best thing to do would be to call DirecTV and tell them this.
They can find who the tech was and give his some credit/Kudos.

"IF a customer calls Directv for any reason within seven days of an installation there WILL be a back charge issued."
HSP subcontractor I no longer work for.

Always good to hear something works as advertised.

Yeah thats not correct joe. Techs dont get backcharged IF the Field service request is sent as a Tech Compliment, as it doesn't require the HSP to call the customer back. It's just noted in the HSP's files.

You only get a SIN7 if the HSP has to reroll someone out in 7 days due to an initial installation issue.

There good tech out ready to do a good job. If you have and issues give D* a call and they will make right. Pay your bill on time.

It's a DIRECTV forum, but "D" tech could mean dishnetwork or directv.

When I first saw "D" tech I thought that was your rating of the quality of the tech.

    College...
    D* is DirecTV
    E* is DISH Network (Echostar)
    P* was Primestar
A* was Alphastar. I got approved as an Alphastar dealer on a Friday, but they filed for bankruptcy the next Monday or Tuesday.
    DTV is digital television
D is the letter grade between F and C
T is a drink with jam and bread

When my installer came out in June I actually did a lot of the instillation myself. He knew what he was doing (for the most part) but I ran some of the cables myself when he was here and hooked up some of the equipment as well as the entire wiring situation of my house.
