    Very sad.

He was a really great NFL player, and even better person and actor.

Both he and his wife are great people.

I was an extra in an episode of Webester and had the pleasure of meeting both he and his wife, Susan Clark and was impressed with how they treated everyone unlike little Emmanuel and his mother who made it quite clear that he was the star! :sure:

    Too sad.

Also 77 is too early for dementia. It can happen at that age, and if he dies, an Alzheimer's test will certainly be done, but I wouldn't be surprised if the autopsy showed brain injury consistent with playing a violent game on a high level.

Always nice to hear about actors that are as nice as the characters they play.

I watched Webster growing up, but Mongo is my favorite once I got exposed to Mel Brooks.
