Wow, your second HR24 and you also have an H24. Someone is doing something right.
It's that clean living...(NOT)
I'm happy to announce that I also got an invite.
I have to admit that I had techno-envy in the first round for those who got both H24s & HR24s. The H24 was/is a sweet box and I'm looking forward to adding the HR24 to the party.
I'll probably just retire one of my H20s and upgrade to a SWM16.
Welcome to the third wave. It's starting to get a bit crowded in here now, but the more the merrier.
It's funny to read all the posts about "what will I shut off now so I can test the new unit?". I'm obviously not the only person with a growing pile of cast-off's on the shelf.
Was working yesterday and didn't get a chance to check my E-mail til this morning. Very happy to see that I'm going to get to play with an HR24 this time !!
Same here, our HR24-100 has been our primary DVR since we got it and it's been rock solid. Sorry to hear others are having issues.
Mike, how's your HR24-100 hooked up?
I have an AT-9 dish to splitters to WB68's. Is that what you are asking?
I think he means to the TV.
Mines straight to HDMI 1 to the TV and connetivity from an SWM8 port.. I don't have an AV receiver (or anything for that matter) in the middle.
And as I have noted before mine is running HDMI to a Yamaha avr then HDMI to my sammy 42". I have had rock solid performance from the HR24 since the first push.
Ah...HDMI direct to the TV as well, home ethernet for MRV. For now. If they call me back before Thursday.
Yeah, this is what I was asking. Sometimes I forget that people can't read my mind. I was trying to figure out why I have issues with HDMI and others are not, I have come to the conclusion that it may be the off brand tv that I have. (Sony)
This new group is a little slow checking in, I hope we get to figure out who they all are before we are kicked out.
Don't want to derail the thread, but what is strange, it that these are really the first issues I have had with any receiver. My original HR20-700 from October 2006 only missed a couple recordings while others had blacks screens etc. My HR21-700 friom the trials was rock solid on day 1. MRV worked acceptably right out of the box on an H21-200.
So I am at kind of a loss as to why I am having issues. My infrastructure is rock solid, my signal levels are all in the mid 90's. So I have no idea.
Ditto. Once DECA gets installed I think it's going to be golden.
Like I said, they can't even see the forum yet.
Then why did Greg start it then?
So i could post after my long absence due to health issues.
