AFAIK you'll still need to have the filter between the splitter and the LNB.
Excited to participate!
Thanks very much Doug!
I'm interested to see if there are any speed differences between DECA and my hardwired network.
I hope the thing's weather proof!
Not that I know of. Poor mans PiP = two receivers hooked to one TV.
As near as I can tell the answer is no.
I lot of people not going to be happy about that
Good thing I am not a lot of people.
DirecTV can't do everything for everyone and still keep things affordable. No, I do not work for them, but I do know business.
That's FedEx Ground.
Our stuff comes next day air.
I have the SWM LNB and DECA. The DECA installation for the SWM LNB is the same as for the stand alone SWM.
Thanks again for all the help with the SWM8.
I ordered SWM8 from Solidignal.com and the Skywalker splitters from a1components.
Now let's see what comes first the HR24, SWM8 or the splitters. And my birthday isn't til June.
Did you get cable tools too?
HDMI cables this morning from Firefold.com, which stinks because monoprice is to be back online today.
no, I mean RG6 tools.. stripper, compression tool/ends..
one of the best investments I made with the tests I have been in..
Last time I tried to order a stripper my wife was mad at me for a month.
How did I know one of you nutcases would post that?
Have had that for quite a while, after buying a compression tool, stripper and ends I cant believe how I ever lived without. Might have to make sure I have enough ends though.
I'm ok as long as it is just the occasional bachelor party, the problem is most of my friends are married, guess I'll have to get new ones.
You guys and your fancy setups. It's all about the AT-9 to the splitters to the WB68's here.
S*** it, Huss!
If I add any more receivers, I'm going to need a SWM16 myself.
+1 on the Skywalker splitters!
