What time is the NFL on CBS pregame in west coast? 9AM!
What time is the NFL football on CBS game in west coast? 10AM
What time is the NFL second game on CBS pregame in west coast? 1PM
What time is the MNF on ABC in west coast? 6PM
What time is the Oakand A`s KSFO when the play baltimore orioles in baltimore? 4:30PM
What is time the lakers game on west coast now? 6:30PM

Believe me as a Pacific Coast resident that there is very little more frustrating that waiting till 8pm for our airing of Survivor and knowing:

    a) that everyone on the east coast has known for three hours who has been voted off
    and
    b) not even being to surf or read email for three hours because folks from the east coast have posted spoilers everywhere to take away our fun.

Even stuff like the Emmys and Golden Globes are tape delayed - though we got the Oscars live. My Formula One races, when in Europe, are at 7am EST. That's 4am for me. Do you really want to get up at that time to watch? Same with all major time delayed events...you keep away from the web, your inbox and sometimes even the telephone if you don't want to know the results.

And I just somehow get the feeling you couldn't do that!

I get up around 5:00 AM making it 8:00 on the East Coast and usually don't hit the rack until 10:00, so the way I look at it, I get 3 extra hours of prime time in my day - early breaking East Coast news and late breaking West Coast news!

I do miss the early days of E* where you could get both East and West Coast feeds just in case there was a network show you couldn't wait to see.

NFL games start at 8am, sometimes 7! No beer and pretzels here. It's coffee and donuts. Monday night is a little better with distant nets. If you can get off work in time, 3 or 4. And local tape delays at 7. Nothing like watching a snowstorm in Buffalo or Green bay at the beach bar with the sun setting into the blue Pacific. BTW, Steveox, all that was just a lie. It's terrible here, really!

The West coast would be too liberal for Stevie.

Yes, things ARE a bit pricy here. Although our gas prices are finally starting to look reasonable compared to yours. In a few cases, even a bargain.:p

 :D Couldnt find anything political or religous in this thread,, had to think of something. Besides,, as young as Steve seems sometimes,, he could probably use a mentor.
