I had my dish replaced today. My old dish was the original 5lnb model with the sidecar. This is a slimlime dish with one one large LNB, instead of the three I have seen on most slimline dishes.

Anyone know which model this? Is it new? Does it have any benefits?

    It's a slimline dish with a 3 LNB assembly. It only receives SAT's 99, 101, and 103 since SAT's 110 and 119 are not needed anymore.

... and that one feedhorn is really 3, combined together.

So, it works the same way your old dish did, because the primary, centered LNB was also really 3 LNBs:

The imbedded multiswitch is a little different in the SL3 LNB, though, to account for the fact that 119 isn't present. The SL3 has a different stack plan to pull guide data from 101 at all times, where the SL5 and the old sidecar setups needed 119 to get guide data whenever a 103/110/119 transponder was selected.
